WAVERLY, Iowa -- Allison Hookom (SR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) ran a season-best 57.32-second effort in the women's 400-meter dash for Augsburg University at the Wartburg College Last Chance Qualifier meet on Saturday afternoon.

Hookom finished third among the 20 competitors in the meet, the last chance for individuals to earn qualifying spots in next weekend's NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships. Her adjusted time of 56.57 seconds (adjusted for track dimensions) put her at 29th-fastest among NCAA Division III runners in the event this season. The top 20 declared entries in the event qualify for the national championships.

Hookom holds the Augsburg school record in the indoor 400-meter dash, a 56.15-second effort set at last year's NCAA national championships, where she finished third nationally.
