GAME RECAP
Augsburg began the game with Nicole Schuster taking position as the goalie, while the Pipers controlled the early momentum. Despite several attempts from the Auggies, including a shot by Breya Sawyer saved by Hamline's goalie Sophie Thompson, Augsburg was unable to score in the first quarter. Schuster made several key saves, but Hamline managed to find the net frequently, ending the quarter with an 11–0 lead.

Augsburg's second quarter was marked by defensive efforts led by Wendy Bravo, who recorded multiple saves, including a key stop at 10:45 on a shot by Emma Halweg. Despite Bravo's performance, the Auggies struggled to maintain possession, resulting in several turnovers and a failed clear attempt at 7:52. Hamline capitalized on these opportunities, scoring four goals in the quarter. Augsburg ended the quarter trailing 15–0.

Augsburg's third quarter opened with a draw control by Emma Ryan, who had a total of four draw controls and a caused turnover for the game, but Hamline quickly capitalized on its offensive opportunities, scoring multiple goals. The Auggies struggled to convert their possessions into goals, with Leila Klym's shot saved by Hamline's goalkeeper at 7:59, followed by a turnover. Klym, who also contributed two draw controls and a ground ball, was active throughout the match. Despite a notable ground ball pickup and a successful clear attempt by Fabiola Guerra-Guardado near the end of the quarter, who also had a draw control, Augsburg faced a strong defensive stand from the Pipers, including a saved free position shot at 00:49.

Augsburg faced a challenging fourth quarter against Hamline, struggling to find their offensive rhythm. Despite several attempts, including a shot by Klym at 13:40 that was saved, the Auggies could not capitalize. Ryan demonstrated control by securing multiple draw controls, but turnovers hindered Augsburg's scoring opportunities. Augsburg's defense, led by Schuster with crucial saves, faced persistent pressure as Hamline added multiple goals to extend its lead.
