SUPERIOR, Wis. – Jack Berry (SO, Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS) tied a career-best 36-hole effort with a 145 score, finishing in second place overall to lead the Augsburg University men's golf team at the University of Wisconsin-Superior Twin Ports Collegiate meet, held on Friday and Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Berry shot a 1-over-par 145, tying his career-best 36-hole score set earlier this season, finishing second in the 103-golfer field. He had three birdies in a 1-under-par 71 on Friday, then had two birdies on a 2-over-par 74 on Saturday. It's his fifth top-five finish in his 12 career tournaments.
• Hunter Ubel (SR, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) tied for 34th place with a 158 (79-79) total, and Max Gundlach (JR, New Brighton, Minn./Irondale HS) tied for 44th place with a 159 (82-77) score.
• Vince Bertram (SR, St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech HS) shot 164 (84-80) and Cameron Bullinger (SO, Fargo, N.D./Fargo Davies HS) shot 172 (86-86).
• As a team, Augsburg finished in seventh place in the 14-school, 17-team meet with a season-best 626 (316-310) score.
• Augsburg's women's golf team had one competitor in the women's meet at UW-Superior. Aleia Johnston (SO, Watertown, S.D./Watertown HS) finished with a 212 (111-101) total in her first collegiate meet.
