MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University forward McKenna Nachreiner (SR, Waunakee, Wis./Waunakee HS) was named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week on Offense, it was announced on Monday.

Nachreiner figured in the scoring in all five goals for Augsburg during the past week, with four goals and an assist as the Auggies opened MIAC play with a win and tie. Nachreiner now has four goals and two assists for 10 points on the season.

On Wednesday, Nachreiner claimed her second career hat trick, scoring all three goals in the Auggies' 3-2 win over Saint Mary's. She scored a goal in the third minute, then scored twice in the final 7:51 of play to give the Auggies the victory. On Saturday, she assisted on Augsburg's first goal, then tied the game with 6:53 left in the Auggies' 2-2 draw at Hamline.

Now 1-3-2 overall and 1-0-1 in MIAC play, Augsburg travels to face St. Olaf College on Saturday (9/26) at 1 p.m. in Northfield, Minn.
