MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg's men's and women's soccer teams will be traveling to Europe this month for competition/sightseeing trips, with the Auggie men going to Spain and France, and the Auggie women going to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Augsburg coaches and student-athletes will be blogging during the trips, with posts and photos appearing on the Augsburg athletic website. Look for frequent updates throughout each trip.

Augsburg's women's soccer team will depart on Monday, May 10 for a 10-day trip to Europe, the program's first-ever international trip.
The Auggies will travel to Brussels, Belguim on May 10, then transfer to Valkenburg, The Netherlands, where they will be headquartered during the trip. The team will visit Brussels; Cologne, Germany; Margraten/Maastricht, Netherlands; Ospel/Tilburg, Netherlands; Amsterdam, Netherlands; and Aachen/Venray, Germany. The Auggies will play four games against local club teams before returning to Minnesota on Wednesday, May 19.

Augsburg's men's soccer team is taking its second international trip in program history, traveling to Spain from May 3-13. The Auggies traveled to Argentina in the summer of 2007.
The Auggies depart on Monday, May 3 for Barcelona, Spain. During the 11-day trip, the Auggie men will visit Barcelona, Girona, Figueres, Madrid and Toledo, while also taking a day trip to Perpignan, France. The Auggies will play five games against local club opponents before returning to Minnesota on Thursday, May 13.
