UW-EAU CLAIRE DON PARKER OPEN RESULTS
SAINT JOHN'S NORTH COUNTRY OPEN RESULTS

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- The Augsburg College wrestling team split its squad to compete at two tournaments on Saturday, coming away with two titlists and eight placewinners at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Don Parker Open, and claiming two titlists and four placewinners at the Saint John's University North Country Open.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Heavyweight Donny Longendyke (SO, Vadnais Heights, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) and 184-pounder Tommy Teigen (SR, Ham Lake, Minn./Meadow Creek Christian HS) scored weight-class titles at the UW-Eau Claire meet, while 174-pounder Tyrell Martin (SR, Eagan, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) and 197-pounder Matt Hechsel (SR, Apple Valley, Minn.) scored titles at the Saint John's meet.
• Longendyke, ranked No. 7 in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III national rankings at heavyweight, dominated his weight class, scoring two first-period pins before scoring a 16-1, technical-fall victory over Conner Herman of Luther (Iowa) in the finals. Now 33-2 on the season, 24 of his 33 victories are bonus-point wins (seven major decisions, two technical falls, 15 pins).
• Teigen scored his first tournament title of the season with three wins at 184, including a pin in his opening bout and a 12-0, major-decision win over UW-Eau Claire's Matt Rieckhoff in the finals. Teigen is now 21-8 on the season, with 10 pins and two major decisions to his credit.
• Martin also gained his first tournament victory, winning the Saint John's title at 174 with three pins among his four wins. He claimed three wins against St. Cloud State wrestlers, before pinning Division I Minnesota's Colin Carr in 3:20 in the title match. Martin is now 13-4 on the season with five pins.
• Hechsel, ranked No. 7 nationally at 197, claimed four victories, including a technical fall, to win his weight class at Saint John's. He scored a 6-5 win over V.J. Giulio of Saint Cloud State in the finals. Hechsel is now 23-8 on the season. 
• James Goman (SO, Lakeville, Minn./Trinity-River Ridge HS) reached the finals at the UW-Eau Claire meet, but dropped a 5-1 decision to Nick Koch of Wisconsin-Whitewater in the finals. Goman went 2-1 on the day. 
• Will Keeter (SR, Twin Falls, Idaho), ranked No. 10 nationally at 149, went 4-1 at the UW-Eau Claire meet to place third, while Chad Bartschenfeld (SR, Amery, Wis.), ranked No. 9 at 133, finished fourth in his weight class. Sebastian Larson (FY, River Falls, Wis.) placed fourth at 184, Logan Hortop (SO, Faribault, Minn.) placed fifth at 197 and Eric Hensel (JR, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville South HS) placed sixth at 165.
• At Saint John's, Gable Frandsen (FY, Ellsworth, Wis.) placed fourth at 157, while Tone Fuenffinger (FY, Hibbing, Minn.) placed sixth at 157.
