BOXSCORE McMINNVILLE, Ore. -- Helena Nguyen (FY, Maple Grove, Minn.) scored five goals, leading Augsburg College in an 18-12 win at Linfield College (Ore.) in a nonconference women's lacrosse game on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Nguyen scored two first-half goals and three second-half goals to lead Augsburg, scoring on five of her eight shots-on-goal in the game.
• Delaney Everett (FY, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Champlin Park HS), Lexi Halvorson (SO, Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville South HS) and Ashley Pettipiece (FY, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) scored three goals each, with each adding assists.
• Rachel Frantz (SO, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) scored two goals and had two assists for the Auggies, with Dezera Sieracki (SO, Wyoming, Minn./Centennial HS) and Shelby Brion (SO, Clearwater, Minn./Monticello HS) recording a goal and two assists each.
• Trailing 4-3 midway through the first half, Augsburg scored seven of the next eight goals in the game to take a 10-5 lead, eventually leading 11-7 at halftime.
• Augsburg outshot Linfield by a 37-23 margin in the game, whle also claiming 17 draw controls to Linfield's 15.
• Everett had a team-best seven draw controls for the Auggies, while also contributing two ground balls. Frantz had two draw controls and two ground balls, and Dezera Sieracki (SO, Wyoming, Minn./Centennial HS) had three draw controls.
• Goalie Marissa Guillou (FY, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) had 10 saves.

FOR THE FOES
• Halee Helgerson scored four goals with an assist, while Chas Tittle and Rebecca Kropp had three goals each. Amber Kaholoaa scored twice.
• Erika Phillipo had 18 saves in goal.
