MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University women's lacrosse players
Sydney Bainville (JR, Centerville, Minn./Centennial HS) and
Annie Fest (JR, Heron Lake, Minn./Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda HS) were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III Academic Honor Roll, it was announced on Wednesday.
For individual IWLCA Academic Honor Roll honors, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or better. Auggies have now earned the honor 31 times since the program started in 2014. The IWLCA honored 1,350 student-athletes from 174 different institutions on the 2025-26 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll.
A biopsychology/chemistry major with a 3.60 GPA, Bainville appeared in 10 games, starting nine, with one assist, a ground ball and a draw control as an attacker.
A business/economics major with a 3.52 GPA, Fest appeared in all 12 games, starting 10, with eight ground balls, 15 caused turnovers and a draw control as a defender.
Under second-year head coach
Hemie Collier, Augsburg finished 0-12 overall, 0-8 in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play in 2026.
