EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- Scoring three pins and seven bonus-point victories, the top-ranked Augsburg University wrestling team won all 10 bouts in a 45-0 dual-meet victory at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The top-ranked team in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III national rankings, Augsburg improved to 10-0 on the season with the shutout victory. In its 10 wins this season, Augsburg has now outscored its opponents by a 312-70 margin, winning 80 of 100 individual bouts.
• The first half of the Augsburg lineup continued its domination of its opponents, with two technical falls and three pins in the first five bouts of the evening. No. 7-ranked 149-pounder
Alex Wilson (SR, Oak Grove, Minn./St. Francis HS) scored a first-period pin, while No. 3-ranked 141-pounderÂ
David Flynn (JR, Jordan, Minn./Jordan HS (Scott West)) and No. 2-ranked 157-pounder
Ryan Epps (JR, Cannon Falls, Minn./Cannon Falls HS) both claimed second-period pins.
• Wilson is now 20-2 on the season with 15 bonus-point wins (four pins, seven technical falls and four major decisions). Flynn improved to 13-1 with six pins and two major decisions, and Epps, the defending 157-pound NCAA Division III national champion, is now 20-1 with seven pins and three major decisions.
• No. 4-ranked 125-pounder
Victor Gliva (JR, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS) opened the match with his second straight technical-fall win, a 19-2, second-period match-ender. Gliva is now 15-3 on the season with 10 bonus-point wins (five pins, two technical falls, three major decisions). No. 4-ranked 133-pounder
Sam Bennyhoff (SR, Mound, Minn./Mound-Westonka HS) also scored a win by technical fall, a 16-1, 7:00 triumph. He is now 13-1 with eight bonus-point wins (one pin, two technical falls, five major decisions).
• No. 5-ranked 174-pounder
Tanner Vassar (JR, Maple Lake, Minn./Maple Lake HS) improved to 10-3 on the season with his sixth bonus-point win (three pins, two technical falls, one major decision), a 12-0 major-decision triumph.
Solomon Nielsen (SO, Luverne, Minn./Luverne HS) followed at 184 with a 14-5 major-decision win, improving to 15-3 on the season with his sixth bonus-point win (three major decisions, one technical fall, two pins).

Lucas Jeske (JR, St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS) improved to 6-0 on the season and 70-9 in his college career with a 9-6 win over the Blugolds' Chase Schmidt.Â
