Augsburg athletic facilities updates

AUGSBURG OUTBREAK PLANNING PAGE

MINNEAPOLIS -- Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, all Augsburg University athletic facilities are now closed until further notice.

The order includes Si Melby Hall, the Kennedy Center, Edor Nelson Field (dome), Augsburg Ice Arena (Ed Saugestad Rink), and the fitness and weight training centers, all locker rooms and the athletic training facility. Fob access to Si Melby Hall and the Kennedy Center will be limited to staff, faculty and coaches who have offices in the building. This closure will be in place until at least March 30.

Augsburg students are currently on spring break, which has been extended an extra week to March 28. During this time, all Augsburg buildings are closed to the public, with fob access in non-athletic areas limited to students, faculty and staff. Common spaces, including residence hall lounges, the Veterans Lounge in the Oren Gateway Center, and the Christensen Center student lounge, are closed to all.
