THE BASICS
FINAL SCORE: Augsburg 4, Martin Luther 0
LOCATION: Edor Nelson Field, Minneapolis

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg took command early in the nonconference game, claiming a 34-4 advantage in shots, a 12-0 advantage in corner kicks and a 71-to-29-percent advantage in possession. Most of Augsburg's starters played just the first 28 minutes of action, with 22 Auggies seeing playing time. Fifteen different Auggies had shots in the game.
• The Auggies scored twice in the opening 20 minutes of play, with Nick Zuchowski (JR, Wales, Wis./Kettle Moraine HS) scoring off a corner kick by Alex Giles (JR, Columbia Heights, Minn./Columbia Heights HS) at the 13:15 mark, and Spencer Enright (SO, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) scoring on a nice pass from Kebba Janneh (FY, Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) at the 19:00 mark. The goal was Enright's first of his college career.
• Two more Auggies scored their first collegiate goals in the second half. Owen Rouse (FY, Madison, Wis./Madison West HS) scored on a blast from the top of the 18-yard box off a feed by Jessie Juarez (FY, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) in the 52nd minute, and Alex Ruiz (SO, Waukesha, Wis./Kettle Moraine HS) scored in the 82nd minute.
• Goalkeeper Oscar Herrera (FY, Madison, Wis./Madison West HS) had had two saves in the first half, and Toby Reinsma (SO, Grand Rapids, Mich./The Potter's House HS) had two saves in the second half.

QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG COACH GREG HOLKER
• "It was a good night to get a lot of guys in and watch three players score their first collegiate goals. Seeing Toby in goal was a lot of fun, too. He is such a loyal guy and a program-first personality. We are always rooting for him."
• "I thought we lacked a bit of an edge in the final moment. We moved the ball well with both groups, but we left a lot of goals out there, so that's something to pay closer attention to in the buildup to Friday's game in Wisconsin."

UP NEXT
• Augsburg travels to face Wisconsin-Whitewater in a nonconference game on Friday (10/22) at 5 p.m.
