FOREST CITY, Iowa -- No. 1-ranked 155-pounder
Marlynne Deede (SR, Springville, Utah/Springville HS) was one of three Auggies to earn an individual title for the fifth-ranked Augsburg University women's wrestling team at the Waldorf University Open on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Making her season debut, Deede was dominant as ever, as she cruised to the finals with a trio of sub-60-second technical falls and a 24-second pin, before earning in the individual title over host school Waldorf's Julia Chambers via injury default. Deede is now 51-18 in her career.
• Third-ranked
Katie Lange (SO, Sherburn, Minn./Martin County West HS) kept her perfect season alive, going 4-0 with three technical falls and a pin of Missouri Baptist's Josette Partney in the finals for the individual title at 143 pounds. Lange is now 25-1 in her career.
• Ranked eighth nationally,
Ashley Lekas (SO, Plano, Texas/Plano West HS) captured her first career individual title, using a pin and two technical falls to earn the top spot at 170 pounds.

Autumn Flanigan (JR, Troy, Mo./Troy Buchanan HS) claimed second place at 130 pounds after earning two pins and a technical fall in the first three rounds.
Kya Rybachek (JR, Mountain Iron, Minn./Hibbing HS) earned a third-place finish at 143 pounds after going 4-1 with two pins and a technical fall while
Brooklyn Hays (FY, Lindon, Utah/Pleasant Grove HS) continued the strong start to her collegiate with a 4-1 day via four pins that resulted in a third-place finish at 155 pounds.
Madi Horn (JR, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) went 2-3 to finish sixth at 170 pounds.
