Jaelyn Nedelcoff (SO, Oregon, Wis./Oregon HS), defender
Malia Neumann (SO, Mankato, Minn./Mankato West HS), midfielder
Annika Rudolph (SO, Richfield, Minn./Richfield HS) and goalkeeper
Iz Shuster (JR, Waconia, Minn./Waconia HS) -- were named to the Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA), it was announced this week.
Conners is a communications studies major with a 3.51 grade-point average, Donahugh is a graphic design major with a 3.77 GPA, Nedelcoff is a psychology major with a 3.96 GPA, Neumann is a social work major with a 4.00 GPA, Rudolph is an exercise science major with a 3.61 GPA, and Shuster is a dietetics major with a 3.89 GPA. It is the first CSC academic honor for each. Conners and Donahugh each earned Academic All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors each of the last two seasons, while Shuster earned the conference honor last year.

Conners played in the Auggies' first 10 games this season, before her senior campaign was cut short due to injury. She scored two goals with an assist for five points in 2022, scoring a goal in Augsburg's 2-1 loss at UW-La Crosse on Sept. 7, and had a goal and assist in Augsburg's 4-1 win at Macalester on Sept. 17. An All-MIAC Honorable Mention honoree in 2021, Conners competed in 53 Augsburg games (4,294 minutes, 81.0 minutes per-game) after playing her first season at Division I Northern Iowa, she finished her career with two goals and 12 assists for 16 points.

An
All-MIAC Honorable Mention selection this season, Donahugh started all 18 games as a defensive midfielder, playing in a team-high 1,557 minutes (86.5 minutes per-game), with 12 full 90-minute games. She scored a goal in Augsburg's 3-1 loss to UW-Eau Claire on Oct. 5, while contributing an assist in Augsburg's 2-1 win at UW-Superior on Sept. 1. Donahugh played in 52 games (3,610 minutes, 69.4 minutes per-game) in her Auggie career, with a goal and three assists for five points.
Last year's MIAC Rookie of the Year, Nedelcoff earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention honors this season. Nedelcoff finished her second Auggie campaign with two goals -- both in an 8-0 win at Minnesota Morris on Sept. 4 -- and three assists for seven points, starting 16 games and playing 1,294 minutes (80.9 minutes per-game), with nine full 90-minute performances. In her 32-game Auggie career (2,678 minutes, 83.7 minutes per-game), Nedelcoff now has seven goals and five assists for 19 points.

A two-year starter on defense, Neumann started all 18 games for the Auggies this season, competing in 1,505 minutes (83.6 minutes per-game), with 12 full 90-minute performances. She was part of a defense that allowed a 1.67 opponent goals against-average with three shutouts. She has now played in 35 games in her career (2,674 minutes played, 76.4 minutes per-game).

Rudolph started 13 of her 16 games played this season (1,146 minutes played, 71.6 minutes per-game), scoring two goals for four points. She scored the lone goal of the game in the 65th minute in Augsburg's 1-0 win at Wisconsin-Stout on Sept. 6, and scored Augsburg's first goal in its 2-1 win at Hamline on Sept. 14. Playing in 33 games in two seasons (2,493 minutes, 75.5 minutes per-game), Rudolph now has four goals and two assists for 10 career points.

In her second year as Augsburg's primary goalkeeper, Shuster started all 18 games (1,530 minutes, 85.0 minutes per-game), finishing with a 6-10-2 record, two shutouts and 79 saves, with a 1.71 goals against-average. In her three seasons as an Auggie (38 games, 2,987 minutes, 78.6 minutes per-game), Shuster now has a 1.54 career goals against-average, with 150 saves, and a 10-17-4 record with four shutouts.

The CSC Academic All-District team is part of the
CSC Academic All-America program. Top student-athletes from NCAA Division III programs in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan are nominated for inclusion on the Academic All-District teams. Student-athletes must have a grade-point average above 3.50 (4.0 scale) and have outstanding athletic credentials.
The Division III Academic All-America program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure, to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the Division III Academic All-America teams program.
