2022-23 MIAC WOMEN'S HOCKEY ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University forward
Emily Cronkhite (SO, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) was named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Monday.
Cronkhite had two goals and two assists for a four-point weekend, as Augsburg claimed a pair of shutout wins over St. Olaf. In
Friday's 2-0 win on the road, Cronkhite scored an unassisted goal with 17 seconds left in the second period to put the Auggies up 2-0. On Saturday, she had a goal and two assists in
Augsburg's 6-0 home win.
On the season, Cronkhite now has a team-leading five goals with seven assists for 12 points.
Now 5-4-1 overall and 4-1-1 in MIAC play, Augsburg hosts a pair of nonconference games this weekend at Ed Saugestad Rink, facing Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Friday (12/9) at 7 p.m. and St. Norbert (Wis.) on Saturday (12/10) at 4 p.m.
