MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University softball team dropped a pair of games in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader to Hamline University on Monday afternoon, falling 10-2 and 11-1 in five innings.

• Augsburg kept the game close through the first four innings, but Hamline scored seven runs in the final three frames to claim the victory.

Sabriya Passmore (JR, Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley HS).

GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg was limited o four hits in the game -- singles by Manecke, Deming, Johnson and
Meredith Taylor (FY, Randolph, Minn./Randolph HS).
• The Auggies scored a run in the fourth inning, as Deming and Taylor hit one-out singles, and Deming scored on a groundout by Rehder.
• Augsburg used three pitchers in the game --
Saryn Sherrell (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS),
Libby Moore (FY, Springville, Iowa/Springville HS) and
Myia Sarff (SO, South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul HS).
FOR THE FOES
• Kira Krueger went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs scored and two RBI in the first game, while Gabby Cook also hit two doubles, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored.
• Cook went 3-for-3 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored in the second game, while Jenna Rubbelke went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.
