NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Highlighted by an individual victory in the men's 8k by
Mohammed Bati (JR, Dodola,Ethiopia/GAP School), the Augsburg University men's and women's cross country teams returned to action at the St. Olaf Invitational cross country meet on Saturday morning.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Bati paced the 305-runner field with the individual title in the men's 8k, clocking a time of 24:42.30 to win the race by more than 30 seconds. His time set a new meet record at the St. Olaf Invite, breaking the previous record of 24:47.30 set by St. Olaf's Will Kelly in 2023. The junior has now competed in 15 races in his collegiate career, claiming the individual crown in nine of them.
• Grayson Harris (SR, Littleton, Colo./Dakota Ridge HS)
was the second Auggie across the line with a time of 29:44.00, placing 161st.

Yassir Ali (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Fridley HS) was next across for Augsburg with time of 31:00.80, placing 206
th.
•
Tommy Clower (SO, Grinnell, Iowa/Grinnell HS) placed 226
th with a time of 31:30.20, and
Henry Nelson (JR, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) was just behind him in 231
st with a time of 31:37.60.
•
Kyler Badwarrior (FY, Shakopee, Minn./V. Sue Cleveland HS) rounded out the top six for the Auggies with a time of 34:25.10, placing 269
th.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Alwena Brix (FY, Plouay, France/Lycee Jean Mace, Rennes) made her collegiate debut for the Auggie women, leading the team with an 8k time of 30:19.70.
•
Davi Worman (SO, Edina, Minn./Groves Academy) was next across the line for Augsburg, clocking a time of 31:34.90.
•
Aleka London (SO, Park Rapids, Minn./Park Rapids HS) rounded out the Auggie women with a time of 32:09.70.
