TOURNAMENT RESULTS | AUGSBURG RESULTS

PLYMOUTH, Wis. -- Gisele Gallegos (FY, South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul HS) went 4-1 to finish in second place at 117 pounds for Augsburg University, as the Auggie women's wrestling team finished in fourth place at the Lakeland University Scramble on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Gallegos improved to 8-8 on the season with her second-place finish at 117 pounds, going 4-1 in the round-robin format with a pin and three technical falls. Brantajia Loggins (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Humboldt HS) went 1-1 with a pin to finish second at 207.
• Madison Horn (SR, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) went 2-2 with a pin and technical fall to finish in third place at 160 pounds. 
• Hannah Wigern (FY, Hutchinson, Minn./Hutchinson HS) claimed her first two collegiate victories, going 2-2 with a pair of pins to finish in third place at 131 pounds.

UP NEXT
• Augsburg hosts the University of Sioux Falls (S.D.) on Wednesday (1/15) at 6 p.m. at Si Melby Hall in the Auggies' lone home event of the 2024-25 season.
