Auggie men finish fall half of season

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Augsburg University men's golf team finished the fall half of the 2025-26 season at the Gustavus Adolphus College Twin Cities Classic, held Saturday to Monday at three area golf courses.

THE BASICS
RESULTS: Augsburg 16th/16 (330-337-323--990)
LOCATION: Elk River CC, Elk River, Minn. (Par 70, 6,290 yards); Le Sueur CC, Le Sueur, Minn. (Par 80, 6,393 yards); Minnesota Valley GC, Bloomington, Minn. (Par 73, 6,787 yards)

HOW IT HAPPENED
Jack Berry (FY, Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS) shot a 54-hole total of 232 (73-79-80) to tie for 38th place in the 85-golfer field.
• Vince Bertram (JR, St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech HS) and Max Gundlach (SO, New Brighton, Minn./Irondale HS) shot 255 totals (Bertram 84-85-86, Gundlach 92-84-79) to tie for 79th overall.
• Two Auggies were only able to complete two of the three rounds on the weekend. Hunter Ubel (JR, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) shot 81 on Saturday and 78 on Monday, and Cole Jonart (SO, St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park HS) shot 101 on Saturday and 89 on Sunday.
• As a team, Augsburg finished in 16th place in the 12-school, 16-team tournament with a three-day total of 990 (330-337-323).
