DECORAH, Iowa -- Gisele Gallegos (SO, South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul HS) and Katie Whelan (SO, Harmony, Minn./Fillmore Central HS) claimed top-eight finishes for the Augsburg University women's wrestling team at the Luther College Open on Saturday.

• Gallegos went 3-1, with two pins and a technical fall, to place third at 117 pounds to lead the Auggies. She claimed a 5:20 pin over Margaret Gilmore of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the third-place match to improve to 7-3 on the season.
• Whelan went 2-2, with both wins coming by first-period pins, to place eighth at 180 pounds, improving to 4-4 on the year.
• Fabiola Guerra-Gurdado (FY, Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley HS) went 2-2, with a technical fall and pin, at 124 pounds.
• Kelsey Cruz Rojas (SO, Burnsville, Minn./Bloomington Kennedy HS) went 2-2, with a pin and technical fall, at 145 pounds.
• Sarah Mann (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Harding HS) scored a pin at 160 pounds, and Paige Haaf (SO, St. Croix Falls, Wis./St. Croix Falls HS) claimed a victory at 131 pounds.
