EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- Fourteen Augsburg University women's wrestlers competed at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire 8-Women Battle tournament, held on Saturday.

• Wreslters from 11 different teams competed in round-robin competition in their weight classes.
• Augsburg's best individual finish came from
Kelsey Cruz Rojas (SO, Burnsville, Minn./Bloomington Kennedy HS), who went 3-2 with two technical falls to place fourth at 145 pounds.
•
Paige Haaf (SO, St. Croix Falls, Wis./St. Croix Falls HS) went 3-2, with two pins, to finish sixth at 131 pounds.

Katie Whelan (SO, Harmony, Minn./Fillmore Central HS) went 3-2, with two pins and a technical fall, to finish seventh at 180 pounds.

Gisele Gallegos (SO, South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul HS) went 3-2, with two technical falls and a pin, to finish ninth at 117 pounds.

Katherine Escalante (FY, Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley HS) went 2-3 with a technical fall and pin at 117, while
Alaina Franco (FY, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) went 2-3 with two pins at 160.
