MINNEAPOLIS -- Three Augsburg University football players have earned All-Region 6 honors from the D3football.com website, it was announced on Wednesday.
Wide receiver
Tyrone Wilson (SR, Ellendale, Minn./New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva HS) and linebacker
RJ Chakolis (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Hopkins HS) were named to the second team, and defensive back
London Campbell (SO, Mankato, Minn./Mankato West HS) was named to the third team, all earning All-Region honors for the first time. The three were named to the
All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Team in November. Thirty-nine Augsburg players have now been chosen as D3football.com All-Region honorees since the regional awards were established in 2005.
A total of 80 players -- 26 on the first team, 26 on the second team and 28 on the third team -- were named to the D3football.com All-Region 6 team, made up of players from the MIAC, Northwest Conference, Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. A total of 173 players were nominated by sports information directors from Region 6 schools.
D3football.com is a national website that covers NCAA Division III football.

Wilson claimed his second straight 1,000-yard receiving effort -- one of 12 in school history -- with 87 receptions for 1,068 yards and 11 touchdowns. One of only two MIAC receivers to average 100 or more yards per-game, he
ranked second among conference players in receiving yardage, third in receptions, third in receiving touchdowns, and tied for 18th in yards per-reception (12.3). He had six games with 100 or more receiving yards, and touchdowns in five games, including a career-high 199-yard, 11-catch, two-touchdown effort in the Auggies' 30-23 win at St. Scholastica on Sept. 20. His 87 receptions are fifth-most in a single season in school history. Playing in 39 games in his college career, Wilson caught 218 passes for 2,811 yards and 36 touchdowns -- ranking fourth in school history in career catches, fifth in receiving yardage and fourth in receiving touchdowns. He also rushed 33 times for 126 yards and three rushing scores, adding 168 return yardage in his career.

A transfer from Division I Tarleton State (Texas), Chakolis shined in his first season as an Auggie, claiming 102 total tackles (46 solo), with 3.0 sacks (31 yards), 6.0 tackles for-loss (38 yards), three forced fumbles, one forced fumble, one interception, 10 quarterback hurries and a blocked kick. He scored two defensive touchdowns, on an interception and blocked kick. He had five or more tackles in all 10 of his games, including a 17-tackle (12 solo) effort in the Auggies' 32-21 win at Macalester on Oct. 18. Among MIAC defenders, Chaklois is second the conference in total tackles (102) and second in tackles per-game (10.2). His three sacks are tied for eighth-most among league players.

A starting cornerback for the Auggies, Campbell finished the 2025 season with 35 tackles (22 solo), with two interceptions, nine pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He had three or more tackles in eight of his 10 games played this season, including a six-tackle effort in the Auggies' game against Valley City State (N.D.) on Sept. 4. In 19 career games as an Auggie, Campbell has 68 total tackles (42 solo), with 13 passes defensed and two interceptions.
Under first-year head coach
KiJuan Ware, Augsburg finished the 2025 campaign with a 4-6 overall record, 4-5 in MIAC play.
