Nina Makem (SR, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) earned her 97th career victory with a first-period technical fall, but that was the lone win for the Augsburg University women's wrestling team in a 42-5 dual-meet loss at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Thursday evening.

• Makem improved to 13-2 with her sixth technical fall of the season, a 10-0 victory in 2:21 over the Pointers' Cadie Percy. She is now 97-18 in her collegiate career, with 49 technical falls and 28 pins. Her 97 wins, 49 technical falls and 28 pins are all career school records.
• The Pointers, ranked No. 17 in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association rankings for NCAA schools, won the other five competitive matches, with two pins and three technical falls, and took advantage of four forfeits to dominate the match.

• Augsburg will attempt to qualify individuals to the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships on Feb. 22, competing at the Region VII Regionals at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.
