Coaches and Sports Medicine Personnel: Augsburg University will be hosting the 2025 NCAA Division III Region VII Regional Men's Wrestling Tournament on Friday-Saturday, Feb. 28-March 1. It is important that you review the following information as it pertains to your team and student-athletes.
Prior to Tournament:
• Collect all skin sheets as required by the NCAA. Anything suspicious on the skin
REQUIRES a doctor's signature on this particular form. Failure to fill out forms can lead to a disqualification of your student-athlete on the morning of the tournament.
• Ask your team's athletic trainer or sports medicine assistant to travel with your team for this event. If they are unable to attend, please send a letter notifying us of any student-athlete treatment needs.
• Please bring a medical kit with supplies for your team -- most importantly, student-athlete emergency contact information.

• The Augsburg Athletic Training Room is located downstairs from the gymnasium in Si Melby Hall. It will be open 1 hour before and 30 minutes after any scheduled practice times on Thursday, Feb. 27.
Days of Tournament:
• The Augsburg Athletic Training Room is located downstairs from the gymnasium in Si Melby Hall. It will be open from 8 am until 30 minutes after final matches on both Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 1.
• Heat and ice modalities will be available for all visiting student-athletes upon request. Electrical modality requests should be communicated in advance by a Licensed Athletic Trainer from the visiting student- athlete's institution. We also request that you send along a kit with the appropriate supplies for any tapings or wrappings needed by your team.
• All visiting Licensed Athletic Trainers will be asked to assist with skin checks/weigh-ins on Friday, Feb. 28 (8:45 a.m.) and Saturday, March 1 (8:45 a.m.).
• A full medical station will be set up in the southeast corner of Si Melby Hall during live matches. Augsburg Licensed Athletic Trainers and Athletic Training Students will be available to assist with injury evaluations and blood control/cleanup mat-side for any teams traveling without an Athletic Trainer. A physician will be on-site as able or on-call for the entirety of the tournament.
