MINNEAPOLIS – Allison Hookom (JR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) broke her old school record in the women's 600-meter run and claimed an event victory in the 400-meter dash, leading the Augsburg University track and field teams at the University of Minnesota Gopher Classic on Saturday.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Hookom broke her old school record of 1:35.71, set last year, with a 1:34.94 time, finishing fourth in the event. Later in the meet, she won the 400-meter dash with a 58.90-second time. 
• Alwena Brix (FY, Plouay, France/Lycee Jean Mace, Rennes) set a personal-best time in the 800-meter run, finishing fifth in 2:32.38.
• Nathalie Hain (FY, Pfaffenhofen, Germany/Schyren-Gymnasium Pfaffenhofen) finished 10th in the 600-meter run (2:09.93).
• Nacia Griffin (FY, Golden Valley, Minn./Hopkins HS) recorded a 16th-place finish in the 60-meter dash, finishing in a season-best 8.42 seconds.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Mohammed Bati (JR, Dodola, Ethiopia/GAP School) claimed another event victory in his incredible junior campaign, winning the 3,000-meter run in 8:24.78, winning the event by 13 seconds.
• Brandon Travis (FY, Baton Rouge, La./Juan Seguin HS) claimed a pair of top-10 finishes on Saturday, finishing in 11th place in the long jump, with a season-best 5.95-meter (19-feet-6.25) effort, and finished in 12th place in the 60-meter dash in a season-best 7.20 seconds.
• Paul Yang (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Washington Tech Magnet HS) finished in seventh place in the 600-meter run in a season-best 1:36.97.
• Abdikafi Khalif (FY, Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley HS) finished in 12th place in the 800-meter run (2:02.19).
• Henry Nelson (JR, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) finished in 19th place in the mile run (4:46.98), and Grayson Harris (SR, Littleton, Colo./Dakota Ridge HS) finished in 19th place in the 3,000-meter run, in a personal-best 9:42.57.
