Stanley RegguintiMINNEAPOLIS – Augsburg University baseball outfielder Stanley Regguinti (JR, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) was named to two Division III Region 9 All-Region teams as a second-team honoree on Tuesday, named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings and D3baseball.com elite squads.

Regguinti is the first Auggie to earn All-Region honors since the 2018 season. Auggies have earned 13 ABCA/Rawlings and seven D3baseball.com All-Region honors since the 2003 campaign. A total of 50 players (15 first team, 20 second team, 15 third team) were named to the ABCA/Rawlings squad, while 42 players (three 14-player teams) earned D3baseball.com recognition. Region 9 covers schools in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa.

The honor is the latest for Regguinti, who was named to the All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team for the second straight year earlier this month.

In his second year as an Auggie after playing his first season at Dakota County Technical College, Regguinti again shined at the top of the Auggie batting order, as the center fielder hit .385 (55-of-143) with 16 doubles, nine triples, a home run, 22 RBI, 36 runs scored, 21 walks, and nine stolen bases. He carried a .643 slugging percentage and .474 on-base percentage. Among MIAC players, Regguinti ranks ninth in batting average, third in slugging percentage, eighth in on-base percentage and third in OPS (1.117). His 55 hits were ninth-most in the conference, with his 16 doubles second-most. His nine triples, a single-season school record, led the MIAC. Regguinti had 16 multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI games this season, and had a hit in 23 of his 39 games played. He reached base at least once in his last 17 straight games of the season.

In his two years as an Auggie, Regguinti has a .398 (102-of-256) career batting average, with 24 doubles, 12 triples, two home runs, 67 runs scored, 33 RBI, 42 walks, 20 stolen bases in 23 attempts, a .609 slugging percentage and .495 on-base percentage. His .398 career batting average is currently second-best in school history, with his slugging percentage seventh-best and on-base percentage third-best.

Under 22nd-year head coach Keith Bateman, Augsburg finished with a 16-23 overall record and 8-12 mark in MIAC play in 2025.
