MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University baseball team was recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) with the Team Academic Excellence Award, it was announced this week. Augsburg finished the 2024-25 school year with a team cumulative grade-point average of 3.38.
In order to earn the honor, teams must post a team GPA of 3.0 or above for the entire 2024-25 academic year. Augsburg was one of more than 440 collegiate programs recognized (NCAA D-I, D-II, D-III, NAIA and junior college).
Of the team's 43 players in 2025, 32Â Auggies had cumulative GPAs of 3.20 or higher and 18 had GPAs of 3.50 or higher.
