BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. –
Jack Berry (FY, Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS) finished in a tie for 14th place overall, leading the Augsburg University men's golf team at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships, held Saturday to Monday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Berry shot a 54-hole total of 228 (76-73-79) to tie for 14th place in the 45-golfer field. He had nine birdies and two eagles in his 54 holes of competition -- with both eagles coming on the par-5, 520-yard ninth hole at Edinburgh USA Golf Course.

Vince Bertram (JR, St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech HS) finished in a tie for 35th place with a 239 (84-76-79) total, bettering his previous collegiate-best 54-hole score by 14 strokes. He had 10 birdies in his competition.

Zachary Reim (SO, Shoreview, Minn./Gentry Academy HS) fiished in a tie for 37th place with a 241 (82-75-84) total.

Max Gundlach (SO, New Brighton, Minn./Irondale HS) shot 252 (86-83-83) to place 42nd.
Hunter Ubel (JR, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) was only able to compete two rounds, with an 88 on Saturday and 85 on Monday.
