PELLA, Iowa -- The Augsburg University men's wrestling team claimed six individual titles and 14 placewinners among its 18 wrestlers at the Central College Under Armour Invitational on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg sent 18 wrestlers to the meet, featuring many of its younger competitors, with nine competing in the Gold division and nine competing in the Silver division. Auggies won two Gold titles and four Silver titles, going 50-18 on the day with 19 pins, eight technical falls and six major decisions.

Brady Swenson (SO, Arden Hills, Minn./Mounds View HS) captured the Gold title at 157 points, going 3-0 with two pins and a second-period technical fall to improve to 14-9 on the season.

Keegan Kuball (FY, Waterville, Minn./Waterville-Elysian-Morristown HS) improved to 20-1 on the season with the Gold title at 285 pounds. He went 3-0 with a pin to capture the tournament title, his third of the season.

Tyler Chenevert (FY, Lakeville, Minn./Farmington HS) won the Silver title at 125 with a 4-0 day, claiming two technical falls and a pin, improving to 15-7.

Jovan Vukajlovic (FY, Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor HS) improved to 12-5 on the year with his second title of the season, winning the Silver 157 class with a technical fall and major decision among his three wins.

Owen Griesbach (FY, Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield HS) improved to 17-4 on the year with the Silver title at 184, going 3-0 with two pins and a technical fall.
• Making his season debut,
Jacob Schimek (SO, Eagle Lake, Minn./St. Clair HS) went 3-0 with a pin to capture the Silver title at 285.

Cade Willis (SR, Kansasville, Wis./Union Grove HS) placed second in the Gold 141 class, while three Auggies finished second in Silver classes --
Carter Freeman (FY, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis./Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln HS) at 133,
Devon Lietzau (FY, Sparta, Wis./Sparta HS) at 141 and
Ethan Swenson (FY, Arden Hills, Minn./Mounds View HS) at 149.

Apollo Ashby (SO, Arden Hills, Minn./Mounds View HS) placed third in the Gold 174 class,
Treynor Curtin (FY, Reedsburg, Wis./Reedsburg HS) placed third in the Silver 125 class,
Max Sokolski (SR, Bonduel, Wis./Bonduel HS) placed fourth in the Gold 174 class, and
Chase Smith (FY, Villard, Minn./Minnewaska HS) placed fourth in the Silver 141 class.
