MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University attacker Breya Sawyer (JR, Isle, Minn./Bemidji HS) was named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Kwik Trip Women's Lacrosse Athlete of the Week on Offense, it was announced on Tuesday.

In her first game in an Augsburg uniform after transferring from Saint Benedict, Breya Sawyer scored five goals with an assist for a six-point day in Augsburg's 20-10 season-opening loss at Illinois Wesleyan on Sunday. She scored five goals on seven shots on-goal (.778), adding a draw control to her game total.

Augsburg has its home opener on Friday, March 6 at 5 p.m., hosting Augustana College (Ill.) at Edor Nelson Field.
