
MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University men's golfer
Jack Berry (FY, Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS) was named to the All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team for the 2025-26 season, it was announced on Monday.
Berry, who finished in a tie for 14th place at the 2025 MIAC Championships, earned All-MIAC honors as one of five "at-large" selections on a vote of conference coaches, joining the golfers who earned All-Championship status with top-10 finishes at the conference meet.
Berry is the seventh Augsburg first-year golfer to earn All-MIAC honors since the 1992-93 season, joining Ben Erickson (1992-93), Todd Tourand (1995-96), Erik Helgerson (2003-04), Brett Buckingham (2016-17),
River Goodmanson (2019-20) and
Stellan Orvick (2020-21).
This season, Berry finished with a 75.67 stroke average,
tied for 17th among MIAC golfers, and tied for the 14th-best single-season stroke average in the modern history of Augsburg men's golf (since 1994-95). He finished with a .703 win-loss percentage (495-209). He had the top 11 individual round scores for Auggies this season, including a team-best 69 in the opening round of the Wisconsin-Superior Twin Ports Collegiate on Sept. 6.
Of his 21 rounds shot this season, 17 were in the 60s and 70s. He scored top-five finishes in three of his eight meets, including medalist honors in back-to-back meets -- the Augsburg Spring Invitational on April 12-13 and the Gustavus Adolphus College Bobby Krig Invitational on April 18-19.
As a team, Augsburg finished with a 315.3 team stroke average in 2026-27 under 12th-year head coach
