Lisa Uehling (Fr., Rochester, Minn./Mayo HS) had three hits in six at-bats in two games for Augsburg College on Wednesday, as the Auggies dropped two softball games at the Rebel Spring Games, falling 6-3 to Pine Manor College (Mass.) and 10-0 in five innings to Rowan College (N.J.). Augsburg is now 1-5 on the year.
Against Pine Manor, Augsburg trailed 6-1 after four innings before scoring twice in the fifth to make the game close. Augsburg managed just five hits in the contest. Katie Tweeten (Fr., Spring Grove, Minn.) and
Emily Crook (So., Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall HS) each had run-scoring doubles for the Auggies. Tweetwn, Uehling and
Audra Thimmesch-Gill (So., St. Paul, Minn./Central HS) scored runs for the Auggies. Augsburg stranded seven runners on base.

Shelley Harris (So., Minneapolis, Minn./Southwest HS) allowed 13 Pine Manor hits, striking out three and walking four in a complete-game effort. All six runs charged to Harris were earned.
Amy Jordan went 2-for-3 with three runs driven in to lead Pine Manor, while Liz Sliney went 4-for-4.
Augsburg gave up four runs in the first inning and three in the second against Rowan, as the New Jersey school was able to end the game early on the eight-run rule after five innings. Just four of the 10 Rowan runs charged against Augsburg starter
Julia Grovum (So., Cottage Grove, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall HS) were earned, as the Auggies committed four errors and gave up two passed balls and two wild pitches.
Augsburg managed just three hits in the game, all singles. Julie Assini and Nikki Panikiewsky each went 2-for-3 for Rowan, scoring twice.
