
MINNEAPOLIS -- For the second straight year, Augsburg University softball player
Lola Pilon (JR, Farmington, Minn./Mounds Park Academy HS) earned All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors for her accomplishments during the 2026 season, it was announced by the conference office on Monday.
Augsburg's starting first baseman, Pilon had a record-setting year for the Auggies in 2026. She set single-season school records for home runs (12), slugging percentage (.876) and total bases (92). Starting all 38 games, she hit .438 (46-of-105), the 10th-best single-season batting average in school history, with an OPS of 1.384, .876 slugging percentage and .508 on-base percentage. She scored 28 runs with 10 doubles, 12 home runs, 30 runs batted in (tied for eighth in school history) and 14 walks. She had 14 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games, and collected at least one hit in 26 of her 38 games.
Among MIAC regulars in overall statistics, Pilon ranked second in batting average, first in slugging percentage, fourth in on-base percentage, second in OPS and second in home runs.
Starting all 118 games of her career, Pilon now has a school-record 20 career home runs and 786 defensive putouts. She is hitting .368 (125-of-340) in her career, ninth in career batting average. She has 31 career doubles (tied for sixth in school history), 86 RBI (fourth in school history), 218 total bases (fifth in school history), a .641 slugging percentage (second in school history), .442 on-base percentage, 37 walks and 10 hit-by-pitch (tied for third in school history).
