MEET RESULTS

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Denyalle Lawrence (SR, Robbinsdale, Minn./Cooper HS) recorded a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke, the top individual finish for the Augsburg College women's swimming team in a triangular meet with Macalester College and Concordia College-Moorhead on Friday evening at Macalester.

Lawrence finished in 1:25.94 in the event for the Auggies, while also finishing seventh in the 50-yard freestyle in 31.67 seconds.

The meet was set up as two duals, with Augsburg and Macalester and Macalester against Concordia. Macalester topped Augsburg 142-21, while Concordia topped Macalester 128-105.

Samantha Hebzynski (FY, Maple Grove, Minn.) finished fifth in the 100-yard backstroke in a personal-best 1:15.19, while Kelsey Hlavac (FY, Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley HS) placed seventh in 1:16.80 and Carmen Lovato (FY, Oakland, Calif./Bayhill HS) finished ninth in 1:29.18.

Katie Neff (JR, St. Paul, Minn./Central HS) finished eighth in the 50-yard freestyle in 33.82 seconds, while Lovato finished ninth in 34.10 seconds.

Augsburg also placed fifth in two relays, the 400-yard freestyle (4:45.20) and 200-yard medley (2:19.79).

Augsburg competes at the St. Catherine Invitational on Saturday (1/29) at 1 p.m.
