ST. PAUL, Minn. – Danielle Hobbs (SO, Hopkins, Minn./Bloomington Jefferson HS) claimed three season-best times in freestyle events, leading the Augsburg University women's swimming and diving team at the Macalester College Roger Ahlman Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Hobbs set season-best times in three freestyle events, finishing sixth in the 1,650-yard freestyle in 21:12.11, 15th in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:19.85, and 10th in the 500-yard freestyle in 6:01.74. She also swam a 1:05.38 time in the 100-yard freestyle.
• Kaia Anderson (SO, Morris, Minn./Morris HS) set season-best times in the 50-yard freestyle (33.51 seconds) and 200-yard freestyle (2:40.92). She also claimed a 1:26.27 time in the 100-yard backstroke.
• Diver Katie Brown (JR, Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) scored 222.05 points in the three-meter event.

• The Auggies are now idle until Jan. 30 at 5:30 p.m., when they compete at a triangular meet at St. Catherine University.
