Auggies compete at Gustavus triangular

ST. PETER, Minn. – The Augsburg University women's swimming and diving team competed at a triangular meet with Hamline University at Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday, finishing third.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Danielle Hobbs (SO, Hopkins, Minn./Bloomington Jefferson HS) claimed a ninth-place individual finish in the 200-yard freestyle (2:20.94), finished 15th in the 50-yard freestyle (30.63 seconds), and placed 10th in the 500-yard freestyle (6:08.52).
• Kaia Anderson (SO, Morris, Minn./Morris HS) finished with a 1:24.88 time in the 100-yard backstroke, a 1:15.72 time in the 100-yard freestyle, and a 34.46-second time in the 50-yard freestyle.
• Diver Katie Brown (JR, Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) scored 62.10 points in exhibition in the three-meter event, and scored 152.25 points in the one-meter event.
• Augsburg's four swimmers competed in two relays, with Anderson, Grace Langowski (FY, Britt, Minn./Rock Ridge HS), Allison Gray (JR, North Branch, Minn./Lakes International Language Academy) and Hobbs finishing in 2:19.10 in the 200-yard medley relay, and the foursome finishing in 2:08.57 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
