TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Augsburg College softball team is competing in 10 games at the Tucson (Ariz.) Invitational Games this week.
SATURDAY, MARCH 17:

The Augsburg softball team opened its run at the Tucson Invitational Games with a split of two games on Saturday, falling 13-4 to Trinity University (Texas) in a game shortened to six innings by the NCAA eight-run rule, then topping North Central College (Ill.) 2-1 in its second game.
SUNDAY, MARCH 18:
Augsburg's games against Dickinson State University (N.D.) and Carthage College (Wis.) were rained out on Sunday. The Auggies have added two games to the schedule in Arizona, and will face the University of British Columbia on Tuesday (3/20) at 1:30 p.m. (Mountain time) and will face Carthage at 3:30 p.m.
MONDAY, MARCH 19:

Augsburg dropped two close games on Monday, falling 9-7 to Carthage College (Wis.) and 8-7 to Hastings College (Neb.).
TUESDAY, MARCH 20:

Augsburg fell in two games on Tuesday, dropping a 17-8 decision to the University of British Columbia in a game shortened to six innings, and falling 9-1 to Carthage College (Wis.) in a game shortened to five innings.

Augsburg scored a split of its two games at the Tucson Invitational Games on Wednesday, falling 8-2 to Calvin College (Mich.) and beating North Central College (Ill.) 8-1.
THURSDAY, MARCH 22:

Augsburg completed its trip to Arizona with a split of a doubleheader with Whitworth College (Wash.), winning the first game 5-3 while losing the second game 9-0 in a game shortened to five innings due to the NCAA eight-run rule.
