• Once again the Oles had the answer and scored once in the fifth then four more times in the sixth to wrap up the game at 7-3.
• The Oles' scoring came mostly from the bat of Jessica Bentley, who finished 2-for-4 with two home runs and five RBI.
• Lindsay Helbach was dealt the loss for the Auggies, as she pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 10 hits and seven earned runs.

GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• The St. Olaf bats didn't cool off going into the second game of the doubleheader as they put up a crooked number in the top of the first, scoring six runs on five hits.

• The Auggies scored two of their own in the bottom of the first. Torborg started the inning with a walk, Sarah Buckner (JR, Duluth, Minn./East HS) grounded out to second, then Nichols stepped to the plate and blasted a homer to centerfield -- her MIAC leading eighth of the season -- to cut St. Olaf's lead to 6-2.
• After a rough first inning Courtney Larson (FY, Little Canada, Minn./Concordia Academy HS) settled down for Augsburg in the circle and didn't allow a single run, pitching a complete game.
• Augsburg scored two more runs in the fifth -- Torborg doubled to center field, and Nichols singled to center to score the first run, then Springborn tripled down the right field line to bring around the pinch runner Mindy Nguyen (JR, Austin, Minn./Pacelli HS) for the score -- but it wasn't enough as the Oles were able to hold on for the 6-4 victory.
