Auggies score dual-meet win at Saint Mary's

MEET RESULTS

WINONA, Minn. -- For the second straight day, Augsburg College divers set two new school records, as the Auggies won 11 events in a women's swimming and diving dual-meet victory at Saint Mary's University on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Maddie Moser (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park HS) improved upon her school record in the three-meter diving (six dives) competition, scoring 210.60 points, while also setting a new mark in the one-meter diving (six dives) competition with 222.35 points. Teammate Cassie Lehman (FY, Blaine, Minn./Centennial HS) finished second in both events, with the third-best score in school history in one-meter diving (207.50) and seventh-best score in three-meter diving (171.40).
• Kelsey Knollmueller (SR, Oakdale, Calif.) claimed wins in four events while finishing second in another. She won the 200-yard individual medle with the 10th-fastest time in school history (2:24.56), while also winning the 1,650-yard freestyle (20:43.66), 400-yard individual medley (5:08.20) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.84). She placed second in the 100-yard butterfly (1:08.20).
• Carli Kirchoff (FY, Cokato, Minn./Dassel-Cokato HS) also recorded four victories, placing first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:09.92), 50-yard freestyle (27.24 seconds), 100-yard freestyle (58.92 seconds) and 100-yard backstroke (1:08.65).
• Jordyn Robarge (FY, Big Lake, Minn.) scored a victory in the 500-yard freestyle (5:50.13), while finishing second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:13.33).
• Jessica Carwin (SR, Oakdale, Calif.) recorded three second-place finishes, in the 50-yard freestyle (27.28 seconds), 100-yard freestyle (1:00.66) and 100-yard backstroke (1:12.57).
• The dual-meet win is the fifth for Augsburg in program history and the first since the 2010-11 season.
