MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University women's cross country team finished second, hosting the annual Augsburg Opener on Saturday morning at Riverside Park.

TEAM RESULTS: Bethel 19, Augsburg 42

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Blair Stewig (SR, Maple Lake, Minn.) was the top finisher for Augsburg, claiming a second-place finish in 21:47.
• Auggie newcomers Taylor Christen (FY, Maple Grove, Minn./Osseo HS) and Zoe Hubner (FY, Neenah, Wis./Neenah HS) finished eight and ninth respectively, recording times of 23:28.2 and 23:32.2 in the 5K race.
• Rounding out the Augsburg racers were Caitlin Olson (JR, Onamia, Minn.), who finished 11th with a time of 24:03.9 and Kassandra Diaz (SO, Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy HS), who finished 12th with a time of 34:42.3.

FOR THE FOES
• Bethel claimed team victory with Amy Reimer claiming medalist honors with a time of 20:39.1.
