MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University women's soccer forward Ashley St. Aubin (JR, Burnsville, Minn./Burnsville HS) and goalkeeper Emily Chapman (JR, Elburn, Ill./Kaneland HS) were named to the United Soccer Coaches Division III All-North Region squads for their play during the 2018 season, it was announced on Monday. Both were named to the 12-member all-region first-team.

15266St. Aubin earned All-North Region honors for the third straight year; she was a first-team honoree in 2017 and a second-team honoree in 2016. Last season, she was named as a United Soccer Coaches Division III All-America second-team recipient. Earlier this month, she was named as an All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honoree for the third straight year. A four-time MIAC Athlete of the Week honoree this season (seven times in her career), St. Aubin was named the MIAC's Offensive Player of the Year in 2017 and the MIAC Rookie of the Year in 2016.

The conference's most dynamic scorer, St. Aubin led the MIAC's overall statistics for the third straight year in both goals and points, setting Augsburg single-season records with 21 goals and 53 points in 1,582 minutes played (75.3 minutes per-game). Her 11 assists were second-most among MIAC players and tied for the fifth-most in a single season in school history. She had a goal or assist in 16 of Augsburg's 21 games, with the Auggies 13-3-0 in those contests. Among NCAA Division III players nationally (as of Nov. 18), St. Aubin stands 10th in total points, 16th in total goals and 20th in total assists, with her nine game-winning goals tied for fourth.

In addition to her single-season school records, St. Aubin also set Augsburg's career records for both goals (53) and points (128) this season, while her 22 career assists are now seventh-most. A mathematics and mathematical economics major with a 3.83 grade-point average, St. Aubin also earned Google Cloud Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for the second straight year.

15248Chapman, who earned All-North Region honors for the first time, was the last line of defense on an Augsburg backfield that continued its reputation as one of the best in the conference. Augsburg allowed just 21 goals this season, tied for the fifth-fewest goals by MIAC teams, with its 1.00 team goals against-average third-best in the conference. Augsburg recorded 11 shutouts in its 21 games, tied for the most in the MIAC.

Playing in goal in all but 20:17 of the team's 1,891 minutes this season, Chapman finished her junior campaign, her first as a full-time starter, with a 14-7-0 record, 111 saves, an .841 save percentage and a 1.01 GAA. Her 14 wins, 10 individual shutouts, 111 saves and 1870:47 played were all tops among MIAC goalkeepers, while her save percentage and GAA were both fifth-best. She had six or more saves in 11 of her 21 games this season.

In her 49-game (37 starts, 3338:15 in goal) collegiate career, Chapman has a 24-11-0 record, 174 saves, a 0.81 GAA with 30 goals allowed and 13 individual shutouts. She currently ranks sixth in school history in wins, GAA and shutouts, while she ranks third in career winning percentage (.686).
