2021 MIAC WOMEN'S SOCCER ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University forward
Jennifer Bobaric (JR, Andover, Minn./Andover HS) was named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Monday.
Bobaric had a solid week, scoring four of Augsburg's five goals to push the Auggies to a 3-0-1 start to the season.
Against Wisconsin-La Crosse on Tuesday, Bobaric claimed her first collegiate hat trick, scoring three goals on five shots in Augsburg's 3-1 victory, scoring goals in the seventh, 50th and 60th minutes. On Friday, she scored the game-winning goal 1:13 into the second overtime in
Augsburg's 2-1 triumph over Wisconsin-Superior.
On the year, Bobaric has scored five of Augsburg's six goals, with her five goals
tied for the MIAC's overall lead and her 10 points second among league players.
Augsburg opens MIAC play with a game on Tuesday (9/14) at 4 p.m. at Hamline University.
