ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Led by a pair of sprint freestyle victories by
Lexci Wuorenma (FY, Andover, Minn./Anoka HS), the Augsburg University women's swimming and diving team claimed wins in six events at a dual meet at Hamline University on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Wourenma claimed event wins in the 50-yard freestyle (26.85 seconds) and 100-yard freestyle (58.87 seconds).

Hailey Rathgeber (FY, Dickinson, N.D./Dickinson HS) won the 100-yard butterfly (1:10.74), while finishing second in the 50-yard butterfly (31.03 seconds).

Kaitlynne Haag (SO, Fargo, N.D./West Fargo Sheyenne HS) recorded an event win in the 50-yard backstroke (36.55 seconds), while finishing second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:18.83).

Katie Kobel (FY, Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington HS) finished second in the 50-yard breaststroke (37.01 seconds), third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:20.32), third in the 500-yard freestyle (6:22.83) and fifth in the 50-yard butterfly (35.56 seconds).

Beth Milam (SO, Princeton, Minn./Princeton HS) finished third in the 200-yard freestyle (2:19.03) and third in the 50-yard freestyle (37.55 seconds).

Sasha Perez-Ortiz (SO, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Hopkins HS) finished second in the 50-yard backstroke (36.20 seconds), fifth in the 50-yard freestyle (33.54 seconds) and sixth in the 100-yard freestyle (1:12.54).

Maya Merritt (SO, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS) finished fourth in the 50-yard backstroke (42.04 seconds), fourth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:27.66), fifth in the 100-yard freestyle (1:12.11) and sixth in the 50-yard freestyle (33.54 seconds).

Alyssa Maciewski (JR, East Bethel, Minn./Coon Rapids HS) recorded a 110.45 score in one-meter diving (six dives), finishing second.
• Augsburg claimed a pair of relay wins, with the 200-yard freestyle relay of Haag, Milam, Rathgeber and Wourenma winning in 1:49.42, and the 200-yard medley relay of Milam, Haag, Rathgeber and Wourenma winning in 2:07.00.
