ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg University women's swimming and diving team opened its season on Saturday afternoon, competing at the Hamline University Relay Invitational.

THE BASICS
TEAM SCORES: Augsburg 4th/4 (68).
LOCATION: Bush Pool, St. Paul, Minn.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg had three swimmers and one diver compete at the season-opening meet. The Auggie swimmers combined with Hamline swimmers in four relay events.
• Lexci Wuorenma (JR, Andover, Minn./Anoka HS) competed in all four relays for the Auggies -- the 200-yard medley relay (2:20.73), 4x100-yard individual medley relay (4:31.14), the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:51.14) and the 300-yard backstroke relay (3:27.19). 
• Lucy Pederson (SO, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS) competed in the 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 300 backstroke relays, and Anna Miranda made her collegiate swimming debut, competing in the 200 medley relay.
• Diver Willow Hansen (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./PIM Arts HS) recorded a 58.00 score with four dives from the one-meter springboard.
