ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Lexci Wuorenma (JR, Andover, Minn./Anoka HS) claimed three top-15 finishes in freestyle events for the Augsburg University women's swimming and diving team at the Macalester College Roger Ahlman Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Wuorenma and Lucy Pederson (SO, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS) competed for the Auggies at the Macalester invitational.
• Wuorenma set a new career-best time in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing 14th in 2:06.02. She set season-best times in two other sprint freestyle events, finishing 12th in the 50-yard freestyle (26.08 seconds) and 11th in the 100-yard freestyle (57.37 seconds).
• Pederson set new career-best times in three events -- the 50-yard freestyle (29.02 seconds), the 100-yard freestyle (1:05.11) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:29.22).

• Augsburg will travel to Thousand Oaks, Calif., for the California Lutheran University Chris Knorr Invitational on Jan. 2.
