ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Augsburg University men's and women's track and field teams competed among NCAA Division II and III participants at the Holst Invitational hosted by Concordia-St. Paul on a frigid Saturday afternoon, picking up two event wins and six top-five finishes.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Mohammed Bati (FY, Dodola, Ethiopia, GAP School) competed in his first collegiate 10,000-meter run, winning the event by nearly 45 seconds and setting a new meet record with a time of 31:45.51.

Trajen Clayton (FY) finished fourth in the 110-meter hurdles and third among division III competitiors, clocking a time of 16.94 seconds.

Aaron Puent (SR, La Crosse, Wis./La Crosse Aquinas HS) also grabbed a fourth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, setting a new personal record with a time of 11:48.79.
Pollei Qadar Caliyare (SO, Burnsville, Minn./Burnsville HS) finished just behind him in fifth place, clocking a time of 13:02.93 in his collegiate debut in the event.

Varney Conneh (SR, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) grabbed one final top-five finish for the Auggie men, placing fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.34 seconds.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Gracie Johnson (JR, Red Wing, Minn./Red Wing HS) headlined the Auggie women, winning the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:42.10
•
Allison Hookom (FY, Andover, Minn./Anoka HS) placed sixth in the 100-meter dash, clocking a new personal-best time of 12.93 seconds.
