ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Augsburg University men's and women's track and field teams returned to the University of St. Thomas for the second time this outdoor season, competing at the Joe Sweeney Invitational with athletes from NCAA Division I, II, and III institutions.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Trajen Clayton (FY) competed in both the 400-meter dash and the 110-meter hurdles, placing 10
th in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.97 seconds and setting a new personal record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.19 seconds, good for 14
th overall.
•
Mohammed Bati (FY, Dodola, Ethiopia, GAP School) ran the 5,000-meter run for just the second time this outdoor season, finishing fifth overall and third among Division III competitors with a time of 14:46.14
•
Henry Nelson (FY, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) clocked a new personal best in the 1500-meter run, landing in 17
th place with a time of 4:20.95.
Joseph Kubly (FY, Crystal, Minn./Robbinsdale Cooper HS) was just behind him in 18
th, also setting a personal record with a time of 4:23.60.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Allison Hookom (FY, Andover, Minn./Anoka HS) returned to the 400-meter dash for just the second time this outdoor season, setting a new outdoor personal best with a time of 58.85 seconds to finish in second place. Her time moves her up one spot in the all-time ranks as she now claims the third-fastest outdoor 400-meter time in school history. Hookom also competed in the 200-meter dash, placing 14
th with a time of 26.76 seconds.

Gracie Johnson (JR, Red Wing, Minn./Red Wing HS) crushed her own personal record in the 5,000-meter run, landing in 14
th place with a time of 18:43.31, more than 13 seconds faster than her previous best.

Mya Bishop (JR, St. Paul, Minn./Highland HS) also set a personal record, clocking a time of 13.51 seconds in the 100-meter dash to land in 24
th place.
