ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Augsburg University men's and women's track and field teams returned to action following two weeks off, competing at the Hamline University Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Allison Hookom (SO, Andover, Minn./Anoka HS) collected a pair of top-10 finishes, placing second in the 800 meter with a time of 2:20.72 and finishing ninth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.86 seconds.
•
Takia Campbell (FY, Eagan, Minn./Burnsville HS) competed in the 100-meter dash, clocking a time of 13.88 seconds to place 27
th.
•
Annabel Lantz (JR, Afton, Minn./Stillwater Area HS) rounded out the Auggie women in the 1500-meter run, placing 32
nd with a time of 6:29.83.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Mohammed Bati (SO, Dodola, Ethiopia/GAP School) competed in the 1500-meter run for the first time this season, clocking a time of 4:02.49 to place sixth.
•
Eman Clement (FY, Stone Mountain, Ga./Towers HS) competed in the 800-meter run, breaking his personal-best time with a 2:05.80 clocking.
•
Nasiruddin Shariff (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Edina HS) set a personal record in the 200-meter dash, clocking a time of 25.54 seconds.
•
Alex Chan (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Groves Academy) also broke a personal record with a time of 57.01 in the 400-meter dash.
