MINNEAPOLIS -- Six Augsburg University women's soccer players --
Phoebe Alva Rosa (SR, Jackson, Wyo./Jackson Hole HS),
Hannah Hatfield, (SR, Rogers, Ark./Rogers HS),
Allison Hookom (SR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS),
Jayla Ponce (SR, Kuna, Idaho/Kuna HS),
Avery Rich (SR, Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka HS) and
Danielle Wagner (SR, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) -- were named to the Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA), it was announced on Tuesday.
It's the third straight CSC Academic All-District honor for Alva Rosa, Hatfield and Ponce, the second straight honor for Hookom, and the first for Rich and Wagner. Hookom and Ponce will advance to the CSC Academic All-America Division III women's soccer national ballot, which will be voted on by Division III sports information directors and announced in December.
Alva Rosa is a physics major with a 3.98 grade-point average, Hatfield is an economics and psychology major with a 4.00 GPA, Hookom is a biology major with a 3.94 GPA, Ponce is a Master's of Business Administration graduate student with a 4.00 GPA, Rich is an English major with a 4.00 GPA, and Wagner is a psychology major with a 3.88 GPA. Alva Rosa, Hatfield, Hookom, Ponce and Wagner are all two-time Academic All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honorees.

Primarily a defender who showed her multi-position versatility often this season, Alva Rosa finished her senior season with a goal and six assists for eight points on nine shots (five on-goal), with the game-winning goal in Augsburg's 1-0 win against Wisconsin-River Falls on Sept. 24. She started all 19 Auggie games and played 1,583 minutes (83.3 minutes per-game), the second-most minutes played of any Auggie this season. In 74 career games with the Auggies (5,566 minutes, 75.2 minutes per-game), Alva Rosa recorded nine goals with 18 assists for 36 career points on 79 shots (44 on-goal), wiht three game-winning goals.

A defensive midfielder, Hatfield primarily was one of the first players off the bench this season for the Auggies, playing in 18 games (three starts) with 726 minutes played (40.3 minutes per-game) and three shots (one on-goal). Hatfield played in 65 games (3,841 minutes, 59.1 minutes per-game) in her Auggie career, with four assists and 32 shots (13 on-goal).

Hookom started 16 of her 19 games as a forward this season, finishing second on the team in scoring with five goals and three assists for 13 points.
She earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention honors this season, her first conference soccer honor. She had a goal or assist in eight of her 19 games played this season. She played in 1,246 minutes (65.6 minutes per-game) this season, a career-high. Hookom played in 73 career games (3,187 minutes, 45.7 minutes per-game), scoring 11 goals with five assists for 27 points on 56 shots on-goal. Also a sprinter and hurdler on the women's track and field team, Hookom is a three-time NCAA Division III indoor national meet qualifier and 2025 All-American in the indoor 400-meter dash (third place), earning CSC Academic All-District honors in 2025.
This year's MIAC Offensive Player of the Year, Ponce became the third Auggie in program history to earn All-MIAC honors four times -- one of 22 MIAC women's soccer players ever to achieve the feat. Ponce again shined as a forward for the Auggies, leading the team with 16 goals and five assists for 37 points -- tied for the MIAC's goal-scoring and points lead, while tied for 11th in assists. Among NCAA Division III players nationally, Ponce is tied for 24th in total goals and tied for 30Th in total points. Starting all 19 games and playing 1,464 minutes (77.1 minutes per-game), Ponce had a goal or assist in 11 games, with five multi-goal games, including a four-goal, 10-point effort in Augsburg's 10-0 win over Bethany Lutheran on Sept. 6.
Playing in four seasons as an Auggie after spending her first season at Division II Fort Lewis State (Colo.), Ponce recorded four hat tricks and 12 multi-goal games in her career. In 74 Augsburg career games (5,918 minutes, 80.0 minutes per-game) and 80 overall career games (6,181 minutes, 77.3 minutes per-game), Ponce finished her career with 45 goals and 29 assists for 119 points on 158 shots on-goal, with 19 career game-winning goals and seven penalty kick goals. She finished her career in third place in school history in goals, tied for third in assists and tied for second in total points.

Rich played in two seasons for the Auggies as a starting defender, starting all 19 games and playing in 1,609 minutes (84.7 minutes per-game), the most minutes played among all Auggies this season. She had four assists this season, including two in the Auggies' 4-3 loss to Gustavus on Sept 16. Playing in 36 games in her two Auggie seasons (3,113 minutes played, 86.5 minutes per-game), she finished her career with five assists, nine shots and four shots on-goal.

A four-year veteran on defense for the Auggies, Wagner started 18 of 19 games this season, playing in 1,536 minutes (80.8 minutes per-game), the third-most minutes played of any Auggie. Playing in 52 career games (3,795 minutes, 73.0 minutes per-game), Wagner recorded one assist in her career.
Under third-year head coach
Clara Webby, Augsburg finished 10-8-1 overall, 6-4-1 in MIAC play in 2025. Augsburg made its 15th appearance in the MIAC postseason playoffs since 2004, and 11th playoff appearance in the last 13 full seasons.
The CSC Academic All-District team is part of the
CSC Academic All-America program. Student-athletes must have a grade-point average above 3.50 (4.0 scale) and have outstanding athletic credentials. Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in December.
The Division III Academic All-America program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure, to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the Division III Academic All-America teams program.
