ARDEN HILLS, Minn. -- Varney Conneh (SO, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) claimed a pair of season-best performances in sprint events, leading the Augsburg men's and women's track and field teams in a triangular meet at Bethel University on Saturday.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Conneh tied a season-best with a 7.18-second, second-place effort in the 60-meter dash finals, then set a season-best with a 23.65-second, fourth-place effort in the 200-meter dash.
• For the second straight meet, thrower Evan Bergemann (JR, Lake Crystal, Minn./Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial HS) set a career-best effort, this time in the shot put, where he finished fourth with a 12.51-meter (41-feet-0.5) toss. He finished seventh in the weight throw with a 11.94-meer (39-feet-2.25) effort.
• Sakariya Hussien (SO, Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS) set a career-best time in the 800-meter run, finishing third in 2:01.67. Bereket Wondimu (FY, Eagan, Minn./Burnsville HS) finished fifth in 2:11.49.
• Mitch Lamers (SO, Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS) finished ninth in the 200-meter dash (24.40) and ninth in the 60-meter dash preliminaries (7.55 seconds), while Parker Blake (JR, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) finished 12th in both events (24.57 seconds in 200, 7.72 seconds in 60 prelims).
• Fritz Landherr (SO, Tracy, Minn./Tracy Area HS) finished fourth in the 400-meter dash in 54.98 seconds.
• Greg Miller (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) led the Auggie distance contingent with a 5:03.72-second effort in the mile run, while Kevin Sethre (JR, Berthoud, Colo./Berthoud HS) ran in 5:06.75 and Aaron Puent (SO, La Crosse, Wis./La Crosse Aquinas HS) ran in 5:07.81.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Jada Lewis (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Edison HS) recorded a pair of third-place finishes in the sprints, with an 8.11-second effort in the 60-meter dash finals and a 27.85-second effort in the 200-meter dash. 
• Mya Bishop (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park HS) finished fifth in the 400-meter dash (1:07.88) and ninth in the 200-meter dash (30.10).
• Jordan Terry (JR, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) finished second in the long jump, clearing 4.91 meters (16-feet-1.5).
• A'jhianna Jackson (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Robbinsdale Cooper HS) set a new season-best effort in the weight throw (9.43 meters, 30-feet-11.25) and had an 8.41-meter (27-feet-7.25) effort in the shot put.
