Jada Lewis (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Edison HS) claimed a pair of victories in sprint events, leading the Augsburg University women's and men's track and field teams at the Saint John's University/College of Saint Benedict Last-Minute Invitational, held on Saturday.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Lewis scored an event win in the 100-meter dash in 12.68 seconds, while also winning the 200-meter dash in 26.56 seconds. Her 100-meter time is currently
third-fastest among MIAC sprinters, while her 200-meter time is now fifth-fastest in the MIAC.
• For the second straight week,
Jordan Terry (JR, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) won the long jump with a career-best leap, with a 5.21-meter (17-feet-1.25) mark, a four-and-a-half-inch improvement over her win last week. Her distance is now second-best in the MIAC rankings.

Mya Bishop (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park HS) finished in fifth place in the 400-meter dash (1:05.05) and 15th in the 200-meter dash (29.07).

Grace Hartman (JR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) finished in 10th place in the 1,500-meter run (5:38.15), while
Camryn Masse (JR, Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie HS) finished 13th in the 800-meter run (2:58.70) and
Alisa Logan finished 20th in the 100-meter dash (14.41).
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Evan Bergemann (JR, Lake Crystal, Minn./Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial HS) continued his impressive spring in the javelin, with his second straight throw over 175 feet -- a 54.04-meter (177-feet-3) winning performance on Saturday. His school-record 57.49-meter (188-feet-7.0) throw last week still remainsÂ
best among Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference throwers by over 16 feet, and
10th-best among NCAA Division III competitors nationally.

Taron Busby (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./Hope Academy HS) set another personal-best time in the 100-meter dash, finishing third in 11.27 seconds. He finished ninth in the 200-meter dash in 23.58 seconds. Teammate
Varney Conneh (SO, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS), competing in his first outdoor meet, finished fourth in the 100 (11.2) and 14th in the 200 (23.84).Â
Mitch Lamers (SO, Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS) finished in 15th in the 100 (11.78) and 16th in the 200 (24.04), both in personal-best times.

Sakariya Hussien (SO, Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS) finished in fourth place in the 1,500-meter run, finishing in an Augsburg season-best 4:09.28.
William McLeer (SR, Cobb, Wis./Iowa-Grant HS) finished 25th in 5:09.95.

Fritz Landherr (SO, Tracy, Minn./Tracy Area HS) finished fifth in the 400-meter dash (54.18), while
Parker Blake (JR, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) finished in sixth (54.47).

Greg Miller (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) and
Kevin Sethre (JR, Berthoud, Colo./Berthoud HS) both set personal-best times in finishing in eighth (17:23.15) and ninth (17:38.32), respectively.Â
Bereket Wondimu (FY, Eagan, Minn./Burnsville HS) finished 10th in 17:59.07, and
Aaron Puent (SO, La Crosse, Wis./La Crosse Aquinas HS) finished 11th in 18:07.67.
